Student Assistant
Our volunteer leadership program is open to Starlight students in 4th grade and older. This program offers a fun and enriching way for students to strengthen their dance technique, learn responsibility, and build leadership skills by serving as a Teacher’s Assistant in a weekly dance class.
As A Student Assistant, Students Will:
- Assist instructors with class setup and cleanup
- Demonstrate dance steps and techniques
- Help foster a positive and supportive class environment
- Commit to attending class every week
- Model appropriate dancewear and behavior at every class
This is a meaningful opportunity for students to grow as dancers, leaders, and mentors while contributing to the Starlight community and earning volunteer service hours.
